The FARDC officers were trained on the methods used to create and to maintain such a climate of constructive and positive relations with the civil populations, through listening and showing solidarity, and in particular by showing discipline, and respecting human rights and humanitarian principles during the course of their work.

The positive impact of quick impact projects aimed at improving the quality of life for civilians, as well as the devastating impact of human rights violations was highlighted, and the programme was appreciated by the participants who expressed the wish to have more such courses in the future.
